Detection work is what search dogs do, that are used professionally for example; drugs, explosives, tobacco and other goods to trace. There are also dogs that can detect cancer cells, can specify a low blood sugar or even detect harmful bacteria in a hospital. All this by teaching them odors. The dog’s nose is something unimaginable for us and it gives the dog a lot of satisfaction to be able to work with it.
